The poetry on this blog is what lies beneath the outer layer of myself. It is everything that is not seen or said. I have never realized that being a poet is a gift. Poetry is my form of self-expression, my form of art. Writing is the easiest and most natural way for me to express my emotions and thoughts. My poetry is light and dark, but above all it is honest and deep. I have good days and bad days just like everyone else. I write about the present, and I write about the past. I never hold back on what I am feeling, or what I say. I hope that maybe the battles I have faced, and the fight that I continue will help someone else. This is why I have made my blog public. I believe that sometimes just hearing that you are not alone is enough to help push you forward, and because of this belief I will continue to share my poems with anyone who wants to read them.
The most important thing that I have to say to anyone who is reading this is to never stop fighting for what brings happiness into your life. I live each day fighting for my own happiness. We have all experienced; joy, love, hardship, heartache, and pain. I hope that when you are feeling lost you no longer feel alone. I will continue sharing with you my good and bad days, my heartache and sorrow, but most importantly my happiness and love.

Your post is beautiful and heartfelt.
Peace is something we all look for but peace itself is fleeting. When we stop searching for it and learn to give selflessly, we will no longer need to look for peace.

I find it beyond tragic that our modern industrial culture, through base chicanery, stole away our ” Universe as alive” paradigm and replaced it with the parody of “Universe as machine”. The fundamental truth has always been that the whole is more than the sum of it’s parts. It falls to poets to serve as guardians of that truth.
