Sometimes loneliness is all I feel
It takes away the numbness and let’s the pain out
Just as the thunder strikes before the rain pours down
This is what it feels like as I start to drown
That jerk from the thunder is all I get
Before I am suffocated.. falling in the pit

It’s an awful feeling. The dam bursts and everything you were holding back comes flooding into the breach. Into the place you walled yourself away from and trapped, you begin to drown
