Don’t feel sorry for me
And don’t you dare judge who I am
I am not a product of my past
I have a spirit that will surpass
All of the bullshit that comes my way
I will do this with each step I take
With each breath
With every mistake
With everything that I do
Don’t feel sorry for me
And don’t you dare judge who I am
I am not one of the damned
I will not diminish in the night
I will never stop fighting for what is right
Throw more at me I dare you
You think you know fear
Well I will scare you
Try to hurt me and I will laugh in your face
Nothing you say will be worse than what I have already faced
True evil does walk in this world
It is not a spirit, a demon, or a mask
Evil walks around in those who hurt others
These are the people you should feel sorry for
These are the people who are lost
These are the people who are damned
Feel sorry for them, don’t feel sorry for me
Dear friend,
I like your honesty and straightforwardness expessed in your poems and thoughts. Thanks for sharing 🙂
I fully agree with you: Out there in our world there are so many people doing evil things, we should not condemn them (to make us better while lower and judge them), but I feel sorry for them and we should take them in our prayers that God may give them a better understanding and plant harmony in them, to hold a mirror in front of their own faces to face the echo of their doings…
All good wishes

Pity. I despise pity. I find it to be one of the most insulting things possible. Empathy beats sympathy, understanding trumps feeling sorry for somebody. So I agree with every word, except perhaps the final line.

You don’t think people should feel sorry for people who hurt others. The way I mean it is that they are the pathetic ones. – have I told you your the coolest – you totally are

Despise, hate, wish to enact justice upon… but never pity. And thank you so much 😊
