I feel so numb
From my skin to my bones
I feel I have been swept away
Not sure where I am or where I will stay
Sucked back and unable to control
My mind…my body…or my soul
I feel so numb
Somewhere along the way I lost myself
Somewhere along the way I fell in the dark
One moment in time is all it takes
To extinguish the spark
And to lose yourself in the dark

Awww thanks, means a lot. Especially as I kind friend I was completely infatuated with ripped me apart and my personality and even perceptions to the extent I didn’t know what was real or not.
Hence the recent depressing poems from like a week ago or just before

Yeah, I did, more than myself. All my friends saw, warned me away. My closest one who hangs out with me a lot even said they’re jealous, this girl was my muse for my poem “Unending Care”. And most others to be honest. Even now, despite how she hurt me, still plan on helping her through some tough times, or at least offer support if she wants to take it.

Good point but hard to see. If life’s not too long or short, it’s just there.
Living day by day is a good bet.
My main tenet, one others have picked out as my main goal even from random conversations, is to make the world better bit by bit. Talking to a stranger in despair, a friend, making sure people are okay and happy as I can make them. That makes me happy too, so a win-win I’d say.

Don’t know, I know many people who say they can’t write poetry for language reasons, their English may not be the best. I disagree with them, it’s about stringing words that mean something to you, once doing that, it’s a poem to you, if not anyone else.
Hence I am still surprised about the attention my poems get now haha 🙂
